detailed pewter replicas of classic
English chairs spanning five centuries.
This is a superb reference collection reflecting the classic styles of such famous master craftsman as Chippendale, Sheraton, Hepplewhite and Robert Adam. Only after detailed
examination and authentication of surviving originals
were the subjects chosen to represent the
finest
examples of English Period Chairs.
Each replica chair is made from separate pieces of fine cast pewter. After detailed hand work the pieces are soldered together to complete the chair. Finally meticulous
hand polishing reveals the intricacy of the modelling
of the completed pewter piece.
For those collectors of these heritage chairs further
authenticity is offered with individual hand painting.
Rich warm oak - the beauty of mahogany and
burr walnut - each chair receives detailed
attention. From rattan cane, leather
and fabrics no detail is overlooked.
